About the Journal
BiCC Proceedings (e-ISSN : 3025-8901) is the output of activities Bukittinggi International Counselling Conference (BiCC). This conference is an annual agenda carried out by students of the Guidance and Counselling Study Programme, Faculty of Tarbiyah, and Teacher Training UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. This conference is a forum to increase the insights, knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes of guidance and counselling stakeholders and the wider community. This conference is published and managed by the Guidance and Counselling Study Programme, Faculty of Tarbiyah, and Teacher Training UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi.
The 4th Bukittinggi International Counseling Conference (BICC) 2026 will be held under the theme “Cultural Wisdom in Modern Counseling: Integrating Indigenous Values into Global Mental Health.” This international conference aims to provide an academic forum for scholars, practitioners, counselors, educators, students, and the wider community to explore the important role of local wisdom and indigenous values in strengthening modern counseling practices and global mental health perspectives. The conference will take place on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, from 07.30 to 16.00 WIB (GMT+7) via Zoom Meeting.
BICC 2026 will feature distinguished speakers from Indonesia and abroad. The keynote speaker is Dr. Fadhilla Yusri, M.Pd., Kons from Indonesia. The invited speakers include Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabbar Dahham Sabbar from Jordan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hijrah from the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Nurfarhanah, M.Pd., Kons from Indonesia, and Wawaysadhya, M.Phil. from Scotland, United Kingdom. The session will be moderated by Muthia Rahman, M.Pd from Indonesia.
This conference is open to the public and free of charge with limited seats available. Participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable global insights, engage in cross-cultural academic discussions, expand their professional and academic networks, and receive an e-certificate.
